New COVID 19 Restrictions - Thursday 24th September

Following on from the introduction of new government guidelines relating to COVID 19, Trowbridge Cricket Club would like to reiterate the following restrictions that will be enforced from Thursday 24th September onwards. These restrictions are legally necessary for Trowbridge Cricket Club to remain open and will be in place for the forseeable future:

  • All customers will be required to wear a face covering upon entry/exit to the club and during movement around the club. Customers will be permitted to remove their face covering once seated.
  • Completion of the Track and Trace form must be provided, this is a legal requirement and anyone refusing to complete the form will not be permitted entry.
  • Tables will be served via table service only, please await a member of the bar staff visiting your table to place your order.
  • Tables are strictly limited to 6 per table - groups should not mix between tables and should remain seated except when using club facilities or entering/leaving. The re-arrangment of furniture is not permitted.
  • The club will close at 10pm sharp, last orders will be taken at 9.30pm.

These restrictions are all legal requirements for Trowbridge Cricket Club to remain trading, we ask that you all follow the guidelines set and remain patient with our bar staff during the coming months - thank you in advance for your 

Western Storm vs Southern Vipers - Thursday 13th August

Trowbridge Cricket Club are delighted to be hosting the Western Storm Regional Development Centre XI vs the Southern Young Vipers Regional Development Centre XI in a 50 over fixture this coming Thursday 13th August.

Play is set to begin from 11am - the ground will be open to all, with supporters encouraged to attend what is set to be a fantastic day of Women's T20 action!



Club Opening Hours

Following our successful re-opening last weekend, the clubhouse bar will now be open on the following basis for the foreseeable future:

  • Monday - 17:00 to Close
  • Tuesday - 17:00 to Close
  • Wednesday - 17:00 to Close
  • Thursday - 17:00 to Close
  • Friday - 17:00 to Close
  • Saturday -12:00 to Close
  • Sunday - 12:00 to Close

AGM 2020 - Elected Officers

As a result of last nights' AGM, we have 5 newly elected officers for the 2020 season:

  • Club Welfare Officer - Claire Hughes
  • Club Welfare Officer - Emma Stacey
  • 1st XI Captain - Tom Oakley
  • 2nd XI Captain - Adam Bolton
  • Social Secretary - Tom Weaver

A huge thank you to Claire and Emma for taking on the roles of Club Welfare Officers, the club are extremely grateful for their input and look forward to working with them both. Also congratulations to Tom and Adam, best of luck for the season ahead.

A big thanks must also go to Tom Weaver and Ali & Louise Goddard for their tireless support over the past seasons as they step down from their respective positions.

The remaining members of the committee continue in their roles for the 2020 season and as always our thanks go to them for their continued support in helping support the flourishing growth of the club.

Umpire Support Required for the 2020 Season!

Do you have a love for cricket and want to get involved with your local club during 2020?

Trowbridge Cricket Club 2nd XI are seeking a standing umpire for the 2020 season and beyond. This role will involve both home and away matches and will be an integral part of the team.

No prior experience is necessary, as training and ECB approved umpires courses can be offered prior to the season starting in April.

Trowbridge Cricket Club AGM 2020

The 2020 Trowbridge Cricket Club AGM will be taking place at the County Ground (BA14 8PX) on Monday January 20th. 7pm meet for a 7.30pm start. All members of the club are encouraged to attend the evening with a number of key positions to vote on.

Anyone interested in running for any of the available positions should consult the club notice board ahead of the evening and sign up to the position(s) they are interested in accordingly.

Any players interested in joining Trowbridge CC for the 2020 season are also more than welcome to attend the evening - please make yourself known to us on arrival so we can introduce ourselves to you.

Winter Training 2020

Indoor senior training ahead of the 2020 season will commence from Thursday 2nd January onwards, full details below:

Location: Warminster Indoor Cricket School, Warminster CC, Sambourne Road, BA12 8LH

Dates: Weekly from Thursday 2nd January to Thursday 26th March

Time: 20:00 - 22:00

Fee: £5 per week (payable strictly on the night)

Anyone interested in joining Trowbridge Cricket Club for the 2020 season are highly encouraged to come along to these sessions - all levels of ability and experience are catered for across our 3 Saturday league sides and various friendly fixtures.
